Privacy policy

This policy describes data handling on Mozg.ru when reading content, taking quizzes, using an account or signing in with Google. The Mozg.ru project administration operates the website and handles its data.
Data we receive
We store your username, language preferences, quiz history, answers, scores and information you choose to provide. Local account passwords are stored as protected hashes. Support requests contain the messages and attachments you send. The restored archive may contain historical profiles, results and awards from the former website.
Google sign-in
We request only openid and email. Google provides a stable account identifier, email address and confirmation that the email is verified. The identifier links Google to your Mozg.ru account; the email is stored as an account contact. We cannot access your Google password, Gmail messages, Drive files, contacts or calendar. Tokens are used to verify sign-in and are not retained for later Google access.
Purpose
We use data for sign-in, saved results, game features, support, abuse prevention and website statistics. Google data is used to create or connect an account and sign in. We do not sell it or use it for advertising targeting or training artificial intelligence models.
Public information
Public sections may display your username, avatar, public game information and published results. New ranking results require explicit publication by the user. Historical rankings form a separate archive. Google email, tokens, passwords, private answers and support requests are not published as part of Google sign-in.
Cookies and technical information
Service cookies and browser storage support sessions, form protection and preferences. Guest attempts belong to the current browser session; clearing cookies or session expiry may remove access. For security, diagnostics and statistics we process technical request information, including IP addresses, browser information and visit times.
Other services and access
Google handles its own sign-in process; Cloudflare provides website access and protection. Optional Telegram linking uses the information needed for account connection and chosen notifications. These services have their own data policies. Administration access is limited to maintenance and support tasks; disclosure may be required by applicable law.
Storage, correction and deletion
You can delete your account yourself on the Delete my account page. Access, email, Google and Telegram links, private answers and results, subscriptions and support requests are removed. An inactive system record without your former username, email or sign-in access preserves links in the shared archive, published materials and game history. Backups may retain earlier data until scheduled replacement. Revoking Google access alone does not delete the website account. Contact support about corrections or data handling.
Policy changes
We update this page and its revision date when data handling changes. New Google data access beyond the purposes described here requires separate consent.
